Electoral Literacy Club

An Electoral Literacy Club is a platform to engage all students through interesting activities and hands-on experience to sensitize them on their electoral rights and familiarize them with the electoral process of registration and voting. The Motto of this club is to develop a culture of electoral participation and maximize the informed and ethical voting and follow the principle “Every vote counts” and “No Voter to be Left Behind”. The main objective is to promote electoral literacy in all age groups of the Indian citizens through engaging and interesting activities and hands-on experience, but in an apolitical, neutral and non-partisan manner. Apart from the classroom curriculum, the ELC also aims to spread awareness among students in colleges and creating Democracy Rooms in every educational institutions, co-curricular activities, disseminating communication material on electoral literacy through various forms of media
