STATUTORY DECLARATION ON INSTITUTION WEBSITE

UNDER SEC -4(1) (B) OF RTI ACT 2005

The Right to Information Act, 2005 (22 of 2005) has been enacted by the Parliament and has come into force from 15 June, 2005. This Act provides for the right to information for citizens to secure access to information under the control of public authorities. All Universities and Colleges established by law made by Parliament or by State Legislature or by notification by the appropriate Government or owned, controlled or substantially financed directly or indirectly by funds provided by the Government shall come within the meaning of a Public Authority under this Act.

The particulars of its organization, function, and duties of the organization

Information regarding the college activities can be obtained by submitting a written request citing Name, Address, Telephone number and information sought. It may be addressed to the Public Information Officer, Sree Narayana Mangalam College Maliankara P.O, Moothakunnam, Ernakulam– 683516, with the required fee of Rs 10/-. Document copies will be charged based on the rate set by the State Information Commission, Kerala.

Working Hours:   

College office:  9.30 am -5.00 pm

Class time:  9.30 am-3.30 pm

Library: 10.00 am – 4.00 pm.

Holidays: The College shall remain closed on Second Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays as declared by the Government of Kerala and such other days as the Principal may declare from time to time.
