FIST Lab-Botany Department

DST-FIST sponsored instrumentation facility is available with higher end model sophisticated analytical equipments, which include Trinocular Phase contrast microscope (DSFi2), Trinocular Stereo Zoom Microscope (SMZ-845T) both from Nikon, Japan; UV VIS Spectrophotometer with solid sphere attachment (UV 2600, Shimadzu); HPLC (LC20 AD, Shimadzu); Millipore water purifier (Merck) ; Rotavapour (R100, Buchi); Fume hood (1500Lx750Wx2400H) mm etc. (A centralized weather controlled, 24 hour power back up, instrumentation lab was created with HPLC, UV spectrometer and high end microscopes). A separate computer lab with 13 computers with WiFi connectivity have been set up for UG, PG students and research scholars.
