Computer Application

The Self-Financing courses were started in 2002 in SNM College campus. Department started with a promising PG and UG Programmes named “M.Com Finance and Taxation” and “B. Com Computer Application“. Computer based UG course help students to gain theoretical and practical skills needed to deal with real-life business situations and transform themselves into young entrepreneurs in this fast-changing innovative world. These courses also enhance students skills and knowledge related to verbal and interpersonal communication, critical thinking, time management and problem-solving capacities.

The department is committed to integrate all facets of Commerce to educate and train innovative and competent human resource globally suitable for industry, business and service sector and to equip and encourage them to start their own ventures in urban or rural areas benefitting both the classes and masses. Various types of special lectures, seminars, workshops are being conducted regularly to enrich the knowledge of the students. The department always encourages innovativeness among students and lays the foundation for them to acquire learning ability. Department conducts bridge courses for newly admitted non commerce students and offer add on courses that enhance additional values and skills to students of other departments in the college.
