  • M.Sc. Botany from University of Calicut, Kerala.
  • B.Sc.  Botany from University of Calicut, Kerala.

Teaching Experience:

  • Working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany, Sree Narayana Mangalam College, Maliankara, Ernakulam, Kerala since 13.12.2012 onwards.
  • Worked as Substitute Lecturer in the Department of Botany, Kodungallur Kunhikkuttan Thampuram Memorial Government College, Pullut, Thrissur (2011 to 2012).
  • Worked as Guest Lecturer in the Department of Botany, Sree Krishna College, Guruvayur, Thrissur (2010 to 2011).

Title of the thesis: Landuse and Landscape Dynamics in a Micro-watreshed of Chaliyar River in the Kerala Part of Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve.

  • Research experience as Junior Research Fellow (September, 2004 to March, 2009) in UNEP funded and Jawaharalal Nehru University coordinated project on “Tropical Soil Biodiversity and Fertility TSBF-GEF” in Kerala Forest Research Institute, Peechi, Thrissur, Kerala.

Title of the Project: Conservation and Sustainable Management of Belowground Biodiversity in the Kerala Part of Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve (Phase I and II).

  • Research experience as Junior Research Fellow (September 2002 to December 2003) in DBT funded project in Amala Cancer Research Centre, Thrissur, Kerala.

Title of the Project: Isolation and Characterization of Anti-neoplastic Secondary Metabolites Isolated from Ophiorrhiza Species with Special Reference to Camptothecin through Cell and Tissue Culture Techniques.
